Fished the western side of Peel today with my friend Todd. He caught his first snapper on a plastic today on the second cast! Plastic was a 2" gulp shrimp in new penny, well done! Tried for whiting on the pelican and banana banks and only managed 5....

Nice work mate, the reefs on that western side are good fun for snaps. Just wait until a larger model jumps on!

Why did you change from catching snaps to whiting on the banks? Worms for the whiting or plastics for them too? Usually where there's one snap the others are around too.
Good effort on catching the Snap!
