1. what are some of the ways people check if all the guides are alligned straight?2. if there is a little fuzz showing where you have pulled the tag back through at the end of your guide wraps will this cause problems when appoxying if so what can be done to fix?

Chris,
Two methods I use for alignment of the guides; 1. Sight straight through the guides to the tip just like sighting a rifle and 2: hold the rod vertically at arms length with the guides facing away from you. You will see the back of the guides and it becomes very clear which ones are not aligned.
2. Use a cigarette lighter just to wave over the fuzzies and they will disappear.

ok thanks was hoping for a more surefire way but i guesse that will only come with time cheers

Just play the video in his second post on this page, should eliminate the issue of fuzzies.
