scarby tailor fun

After not having a fish a fish with me old mate Derek(Dezzer) for a while now that he's moved out into the sticks we went out yesterday hoping for a snap on placcies at Scarby reef. All quiet on the snapper front. A couple of undersized to Derek and not much else from 6:30 till 9:30 when we noticed some follows from what we thought were pike but after catching one realised they were tailor. On with the slugs and for the next 45 minutes it was one of the best sessions I've had for a long time. Double hook-ups, surface strikes,aerial displays;just nearly non stop fun!! 28 tailor later it was time to go and we left them biting. size was from 35-40 odd cm's. Thanks for a great session mate and hope we get some similar luck offshore soon!!

tailorboy99; We were plastics fishing and just threw some slugs on the plastics gear so yeah it was braid. 8 Pound.
