in the pine to past the time

didnt have much to do today so i took a mate for a fish. fished in the main river around a big rock wall flicking softies an had a bait out with no reward. decided to move down to the pine river brigde. managed to pick upa few small bream on the plastics but nothing to put in the esky. then my baited rod went off pulled in a jewie that went 28cm rebaited an casted out 5mins later the bait rod went off again this time a jewie at 36cm. not much after that so decieded to call it quits. even though we didnt bring home dinner it was still fun. an the jewiw on light gear topped off the day

must be doing something wrong, i started targeting jew about 2 weeks ago for my first time, since then i've gone out 8 times and managed to land 11 decent jew up to 7kg on light line.

hey mangfish where have u been getting your jew an what method have u been using. i went out again yesterday an managed to get another 3 but yet again nothing over 45cm. any tips you could give would be handy
