Any soft plastic in the 2-3 inch is a great start and matched to a 1/16 jighead is a killer start. use the lightest possible jighead possible for the plastic to reach the bottom. a tip i was given that has givven me alot of success is work the rod with your wrist rather than lifting the rod, this gives the plastic a better dart up through the water column. your best bet will be fishing holes and snags at this time as the bream are either hard against the snags or sitting at the edges of deep holes. if you have access to a boat hit up and down your local creeks casting at every mangrove, this is your best chance at nailing a bream. if not try fishing trawlers and rockwalls. try to stick clear of using gulps and use a as some call a 'propper plastic' this will give you more of a thrill than what you do with gulps. i hope it helps.
