Okuma Epix EFS20 is my choice and what i use for bream thru to snapper with 6lb braid. I have a fair selection of Epix's now and none have ever let me down.
The EFS series is the high speed versions and worth the couple of extra bucks in my opinion.
Next Okuma I buy will be a V System 30a for snappering in slightly deeper waters. Good write up on them, only negative being 1 or 2 ounces heavier then the current Stradics.

G'day mate!
Would agree with Tunaticer.
I fish the same reel with a Shimano Raider 6'8" and have found it great. 3 years on and still smooth with no corrosion. Other Okumas have been pretty poor and have died an early death.

I have the Epix EB20 and its a very smooth little baitrunner. I used to team it with a drop shot until it took a break! Now I team it with a 7foot Daiwa Tierra (but havent yet used it in anger on that rod). I use 2kg braid and there really isnt a bream that you cant get quickly in with that. I also have another spool that came with the Okhuma that was loaded with 1KG mono (Japanese stuff that is very very thin but strong) and it was going to be for whiting, but I know either use a handline or a little cheap overhead loaded with the same stuff...pretty soon Im going to stick 5kg braid on that second spool and it will then be a bay snapper rig for shallow water with my 8-10 Fleuger Medalist for the big boys.
Cheers
PS. It has held together very well and I love this reel - I would probably buy another of there top line reels over my other fav brand Shimano for value...cant get pas the value

The EFS20 and EFS30 are the same reel with different capacity spools. I have and use both every time i go fishing. I can't tell the difference unless i look at the reel.
The EFS30 looks bulkier than the 20 but it is all in the spool.
The EFS40 is substantially larger and would not suit a light setup very well, more suited to a 6kg setup or so.
You will be very happy with the efs series for certain.

ive worn out a couple of epix 30efs's trolling and casting.although a little bulky were reasonable reel.for breaming have a look at the allumina model.mate has the30 and is a great compact/light reel to cast compared to epix.and it has outlasted mine and still going.
