bowmount tie downs

just after some advice or pictures what some people use to stop the sharft of bowmount bouncing up and down while under way at speed on water

A simple ocky strap is all i use. The shafts are flexible for a reason so bounce should be expected.

Hello,

I've got a cover (rell cover from BCF) over the top of the bow mount and ocky strap this to the bow rail of my Seajay. I didn't like the idea of the top of the motor bouncing on the bow rail so I thought this way works well. I'll get a photo posted soon.
