Hi all top site:
Seeking some advice,I tend to get a bit of fuel splash back from fill point if Im not vigelant, would fitting a non return valve at the tank end of the fill tube solve this. Any and all advice would be mucho appreciated

that is usually caused by a very bendy Fuel inlet system, or a vent system that is too small or nearly blocked.

A non return valve works best when under pressure.
It's going to splash more with a non return valve just inside the fuel neck and the nozzle open to outside air pressure, unless it's for Motor racing then you have a proper set up.
So all that it would do is make it a restrictor for slower and I mean much slower filling.
If you dropped the bow of your boat to the ground, then filled with fuel it will go in much easier.
