Been looking at a few used boats of late as I'd like to get a rig for some offshore action. I'd like as a max a 5.5m cab style boat or as a min a 4.5m runabout, both in glass. The thing is I don't know how big I can go to suit my tow cars the first of which is a 190kw VZ SV6 Commodore with a rated 1600kg bar which would be a secondary tow car. And the primary tow car would be a 2.8l diesel dc 93 hilux with a lot of extra weight added and a aftermarket turbo fitted with a 1500kg tow bar. I was thinking I would like to keep the boat down to 1200kg tow weight so what size boats in glass do you think would suit ?
