Mud Wednesday

Headed out to Mud with Poodroo in his boat before sun up....THANKS A HEAP POODROO. Had a great day on the water and we did land fish but not of the keeping size. I got a small estuary code, a few 20-30c, squire and yep you guessed it...a grinner. I swear I catch one every time I go out!!!:P Poodroo also caught quit a few squire...yeah yeah he out fished me!

For all of those of you who worked today...CHEER UP;D;D;D because it really was a great day on the water.

It was really great to finally sit next to a fellow placcie man and spend the day discussing technique, colours, weights, leaders and so forth. Why there were no keepers was a popular topic with us today but a least we were not alone...it doesn't sound like anyone was doing well. I salute you Poodroo....at least we caught fish! I also learned heaps mate!

All in all a great day out and once again THANK YOU Poodroo for a top day out!

I was one of those suckers at work today mate, working on Bribie island on the canals without out a breath of wind about there was no place I'd rather be!!

Regardless of whether or not the fish are playing fair it is always good to share the experience with a fellow Ausfisher. Great to meet up finally BilgeBoy. Thoroughly enjoyed the day although I am apologetic that I didn't put you onto a PB but with your newfound knowledge that is destined to change on the next outing I'm sure. Hopefully I will be there to witness you boating your 80cm + snapper.

I thank you for your considerate thoughts for those at work while you guys were lapping up the sunshine in perfect conditions. I was the one texting Poodroo while stuck in carpark conditions on the M1. >:( Every dog has his day, I hope mine is very soon, and you will be the one stuck at work:P . At least you had a good time.

Scalem - Sorry mate....couldn't help that little dig. Its not often I get out for a mid week so it kinda goes to your head. I am out of work at the moment so I am trying to get in as many days as possible...and loving it.

Bluefin59 - great to meet you as well and I hope you had a better day today. Top setup you have and I am green at the fact that you get out as often as you do.

Poodroo - never mind the 80+...a 60+ will do for now!!!!
