I was wondering what works better, teflon skids or wobble rollers?
The 18 foot nereus I have is a heavy boat and does not seem to come back onto the trailer to easy, at the moment I have new wobble rollers but should I convert to those teflon skids?

Hey nereusnympho,
my trailer USED to be set up with wobbly rollers,
I wasn't happy trying to drive on. so manual winching was the go.
Since I gave the trailer a near total rebuild, with 2 long skids & 2 short ones each for the back 2 rollers, drive on is a dream , & the boat doesn't move (roll) on the trailer in transit like it does with the wobblys.
Certainly suits me better, but others may disagree,

Totally off topic nereus, but where are u from?
Nereus being an SA built boat I find it interesting to see where they are getting to and how they cope with the different conditions dished up by different parts of the country.

howdy Coontakinta,
I am from adelaide, I went into Nereus boats about 6 weeks ago and was told that it is taking them about 5 to 6 weeks to complete 1 boat, they also said they were having quality problems with changing of staff members.
Loving nereus boats as much as do I really didnt think much of the factory.
