s27 07 929 e153 08 014 you may have to search this area a little to find them but there will be a heap of other boats around so wont be hard to find.apperantly the size is getting better now . Good luck not that anyone needs it at the moment

Greg, come out of Bribie passage to the X marker then head S W as if to scarborough, to the red bouy. The banks are on the Eastern side of the red bouy. That's where I understand them to be, but as it isn't an "official' mark, others may have a different location.

27.075S 153. 075E approx for the red bouy then sound around s east of there, but be careful as it shallows

head out of the passage, turn right at the blinker, look for the boats. The red buoy is a good start point, but dont be scared to have a look around away from the crowds.
Nugget and Nigel were discussing it on this mornings show, catchs up to 150 apparently, dont know about size.

Hi Adam, We use Gulp Worm pieces and Squid strips for wintries. Tides dont seem to make a lot of difference but move around to find them.

live blood worm is by far the gun bait
small long shank hook, pea size sinker and around 45cm trace, simple as.
just keep drifting with the schools as there feeding. sounder helps, they look like a scattered bait ball right on the bottom,

Lippa - took the daughter for a whiting fish around the Moreton Sandhills on Sunday. They are thick as right now and not bad size. Two hook paternoster soon had the live bait tank full.
