I need to transport my trailer boat from sydney to gold coast. Does any one know the cheapest and best way to do the job as i dont have time to drive it myself. Greg

Mate, there was a thread here only a couple of days ago about transport. A lot of it is not usefull at all but there were some contact numbers etc in it. Just search for transport and you will find it.

Depending how wide.long etc, you may be able to get a shipping container and send it up via rail. Cheaper than any road transport. Give FCL a call, thier container are 2.4m wide and come in 20' 40' and 48' I think they are about 2.4-3.0m high, but they will have al those details

try trewins transport they take them down every weeknot sure on prices though

I got my kc brought up to brisbane from melbourne for $1500 a year ago but i can only imagine what it would cost now with the way fuel has gone up so much. Trewins are a ripoff i know a few if your interested. Dean.

Greg, call 'Sydney Boat Terminal'. Sorry, don't have their number with me as it's at work. Was looking at freighting a trailer SYD-BNE last week & their price as nearly a third or Trewins. They drop at Yatala, you'll pay more $ for extra few k's to the coast.cheers
