http://www.lureworld.com.au/

I had a look at this site in search of some good well priced lures - the pricing appears to be good and they see to have a good range of lures. So my question is: is lureworld a good place to buy lures?

After reading Nagg's thoughts on buying fishing gear online i've searched around a bit looking for some good sites. I would like to buy my lures and other gear from my local fishing shop but i'm unsure as to wether that is the best thing for my fishing, as I can get more lures from lureworld for the same amount of money.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Great site, i've learnt a lot more about fishing already!

A good local tackle shop will give you advice on your particular style of fishing and what lures/tackle will suit the job. That's something that an internet site can't do.
On the other hand once you know what you want I suppose if it comes to the bottom line (which seems to be the case nowadays with the cost of living on the up and up) if it's cheaper on the internet site people will buy on line.
It's up to the individual. It'd be nice to support your local shop if you've got one close by.
I have to drive 40 minutes to get to one.... with fuel the price it is it makes sense to shop on line nowadays.

I agree with Leeann, if you know exactly what you want then you might as well buy from Lureworld. I like their Snapback range, I've found that Snapbacks are often hard to get elsewhere.

some of the online stores can have a chatboard or a tips section that can be very useful, in some cases a hell of a lot more useful than some of the 'chain' type tackle stores.
