caught this jewie on a livie in the river Saturday arvo just before the storm hit. Got back to the car at Pinkenba to find some scumbag had removed the drivers side wiper blade from the windscreen>:( . PB jewie anyway, on 6 kg line and it was taken from a new spot I found on the day, so very happy with the arvo's efforts.

Also showing a photo of a spaniard from Bundy caught on the long weekend two weeks ago. Heaps of mackies up there at present and they seem to be alot easier to catch than at my usual haunts off Caloundra. This one went 14.5 kg and was taken on 4 kg line;D

thats a huge jewie from the river and it sounds like the spot will produce the goods. nice spaiard too. its a pity about some scumbags that hang around and knick stuff while no one is present. last time i was at the pinkenbar ramp on the way out me and my dad noticed the grass on fire we raced over there and managed to beat the fire out with some wood we found, if it was up for another minute there were going to be cars and trailers damaged.

Great fish Jeremy!!! You sure know how to find them.

And there's proof that you can still catch big fish on light gear.

Cheers

nice work there Jeremy. Very dissapointing about those mongrels at the Boat Ramp. Something has to be done about it.

Jeremy,
Nice Jewwie. I heard you been chasing one for a while. Team Boss fished standard tackle in the state titles on the weekend for a mixed bag but ended up with 5 fish to weigh each. Nothing outstanding, best was Darryl with a13.5kg cobe on 6. Did a lot of miles and fishing was slow. What's next on the target?

Jeff.

well done on the State titles result. We didn't fish seriously as we didn't have a team of three.

I have been trying to finish off my lure casting masters for a couple of years now. Need one more. Been trying for a threadie past couple of months. I was sure I would get a couple over the long weekend at Bundy, and I did try, but didn't manage to put any in the boat on a lure. I think jewies take lures. Might give that a go.
