Fished Kings Beach "Rock Ledge"just before high tide. Absoluteley zero although one of the other guys got a 35cm bream.
Tried Happy Valley at 6pm but my favourite hole is almost filled in with beachsand. Then tried down at Pelican Waters under the bridge. Heaps of fish jumping but only got a 140cm EEL!
Hate eels, remind me of snakes.
Anyway, hopefully the full moon will bring some in. I must be doing it all wrong. Has anyone got some tips on a sure fire method of rigging up a rod to catch a decent queenie or jewfish. What is the best bait? I usually fish landbased. Am pretty new to ocean fishing as I have done all my fishing on the mighty Darling where the Yellowbelly and the Cod are all the go. Cheers:D

cath plenty of eels in my time around the bribie bridge. But they will never have the pleasure of getting in my boat.

I think the only sure fire way of catching any fish would have to be....................... buying from a fisho;D :P
