Mothers Day Escape

After looking after the wife and kids for breakfast and lunch I was shocked when she told me to go fishing at the last minute. Anyway got these in the southern bay on whole whiting and grinner fillets.

Hehe I might have to put some more work in to get out later in the week. Got them last night. Weather looked a little ordinary but the wind dropped right off at around 7 when most of the action started.

The biggest was 55cm.

I nearly fell off my chair when she suggested I should go again tonight, she wants to stock the freezer for a bbq coming up, however things didnt work out quite as well - same time, same place, same gear, same weather, same bait - the result: 1 keeper bream, plagues of undersize bream and moses perch. Thought Id clean up again after last night but not to be.
