Hi Guys, just after a few ideas and opinions, basically im thinking of changing my hull and selling my 475 top ender and going for a trailcraft 485profish. They are the same size and i wish to use a 60hp EFI yammy again as i have one on my top ender and love it its just clocked up 460hrs, it makes enough power for me (28knts) and is great on fuel. The thing that sells me on the trailcraft is the self draining deck i love the idea of a sealed alloy floor, no wood to rot etc, i feel that its the only thing my top ender is lacking. Im just a bit worried the profish hull wont be the same as the millennium hull, as I like the way the quinnie handles the chop.
Another thing that interests me is the use of trim tabs on the pro fish, iv seen a few fitted with trim tabs ?
i would be interested to hear from people who own both hulls and could give me some advice and info??

thanks beau:)

Hi Beau I have been in a profish 510 and i would have to say that they do bang a bit. The boat felt safe etc but it was like most tinneys hard riding. One of the best rideing side console plate boats i have been is a tabs territory pro. Very well buit boat but did have a timber floor haveing said that it was alloycore type. Thay might have self draining opition. The size i went in was a 480 tabs and had a 4mm bottom and 3mm plate sides. I also noted it had fully welded side decks. But if you have been happy with the ride of the quintrex maybe upgrade and put up with the floor. Regards Mark
