can anyone tell me best tatics there it is located on oakey creek.

Mate. I fished there once many years ago when we moved over here from the Coast and before I got a boat. I would suggest shrimp or worms under a float and/or casting a spinnerbait. The creek is stocked with Cod and Goldens with eel tailed catfish naturally occuring. I would also consider a diving Smak hardbody as well. If you hit a snag then stop winding and let the lure float over the snag. It is a nice little area to camp. Good luck. Can you post your results as I have had a few people at work asking about fishing there.

what types of lures or bait did you use and what fish ya catch
