I got an early mark from work this arvo, so I thought it would be a nice arvo for a quick flick. I have not managed to boat much of late, so I was kinda hoping a drought breaker would come soon. Went under the bridge again and the tide was right out, so I managed to walk all the way out to the channel directly under the bridge. Half an hour of chucking the chicken saw this little fella take the bait. Only went 42cm, and I am not real big on keeping them under 45, but the freezer was empty, and my mum is staying over on Monday night, a coupla fillets and some wine, and I will be the best son on earth for the next 6 months.

It pulled pretty well on light gear, and put on a tail walk for me too.
Nice stroll along the waters edge, nice arvo, what more can you ask for.

Thanks again Mr. Gulp.

Nice photo. I love that sort of bottom for flatties. Those jerkbaits work a treat on so many fish.

I'll be out at some stage nico. I will give you a call when I work out they day. Probably saturday, or friday night for some squire at my spot X. Good work on the bullies lately too mate, the more of those in your freezer, the less to annoy me when I am chasing flathead.
