6 year old grandson has been nagging for a while about going fishing. Wife and I decided to take him for an overnight fish. The fish did not play the game - only 3 bream and 1 flathead. It was a superb night with the young bloke there..he enjoyed every minute of it..those that he was awake for anyway. Met up with another Ausfish couple there and had a couple of beers and a night's fishing.
One of those never to be forgotten events in life..the young bloke's first overnighter.

Good on ya mate, sometimes the best fishing trips aren't the ones when you catch many fish

Hey Pinhead,
Isn't is an awesome feeling to spend such quality time with the young ones. We tend to become so wrapped up in life and are so busy, that we forget the little things in life that are so important to us all. Its special times like this trip that will stay with you both for many a year to come. Congrats mate

You don't need fish with everything else coming together like that

It was a great outing and many thanks to Greg, Sue and Regan who also i think caught his first soldier crab as well. Had a great time and it was a weekend of firsts, it was Becs first overnighter in the tinny as well, and she hasnt said no to another, i think the pictures say it all, and had a couple of Bream last night for tea.
