Northstar / Navman

Hey Guys & Girls
I have been importing and selling Northstar Chartplotters and Sounds for 6 months, I have noticed that people are concened that Northstar are not the same unit as the Navman range even though they are from the same factory, what does everyone think of the Northstar Units?

Same units just a name change as far as I know ??

Yep, same units just with less service (I did not think that was possible) since Navico has started distributing it themselves in Australia. call their service centre.......c'mon, I dare ya!

I like the name, northstar, it is what th sailers use to use to get home at night or something, makes sense for a GPS unit!!

Thanks for the reply. John I have contacted Navico to discuss the units, there was no problem and they were very helpful. Billy I would send a free unit for you but as the government seem to always tell us - nothing is ever free - but i sure can give you the best prices in Australia.....lol.
