Most brands are good nitlon, fireline, wiplash, fins are the most common and are quite good for the price

In the lighter weights, I like the crystal fireline. I have had good results with it.

under 10lbs I use Stren Micro fuse, tried Fireline and its ok but prefer Stren.
Over10 I use Nitlon Pe or Sunline Super Pe, over 30lbs I use Castaway

I would have to agree with the Captain. The Microfuse is nice to use in the lighter B/S's but the Fireline is still good. I find true braid eg Fins a bit clingy in the lighter sizes
