Fished Scarborough today and it was bloody slow and very quiet, my mate got a cod about 45cm on a 4 inch power bait in galaxia green, i could not buy a hit,,,,, nothing all morning>:( , we tried heaps of different spots i know and some my mate knew nothing to be had anywhere:(. We moved into a shallow reef we know (5-10 foot), we started catching a few pike:-[ and then i got snagged and lost my plastic, so i tied on a rapala shad rap and a few casts later i was on, a short fight and 45cm of squire comes up;D , nothing big, but enough for dinner tonight for me, and it was my first squire on h/b.
Marty.
P.S- It was packed today there were boats everywhere....... hundreds...

I'd be happy with a 45cm pinkie, and on a hb, good effort!
Another string to your bow huh Marty?!
I went out for a R&D mission on Sat night and when i arrived at the Wello ramp at 9ish, couldn't find a parking spot! East of Mud was brighter than Southbank! Didn't need a GPS to get there - just head for the lights...

We had a fun family day out on Monday, fished the shallow reefs off Coochie.
My 10 year old son had fun catching pike and moses perch on a small hard bodied lure, unfortunately no squire.

Same out at the red buoy at Coochie the other night. I thought Dunwich had shifted down the island a little bit ;) because off all the boat lights.

Hi Marty, scored my first hardbody squire as well on sunday.I'm going to give those blades ago in the deeper water and see if we can get some river squire interested.
