After a busy day on Saturday, my lady Mozziemagnet and I loaded up the boat with the camping gear and hit the water early on Sunday. Launched at Bribie and headed East to Moreton.

Set up camp and headed straight down to Curtin and fed the pickers for a while until we got sick of catching no fish.

The bay had glassed out, so we went out East of Cape Moreton to have a crack at some reefies. We found them, but they needed to grow up a bit and turn into snappers. There were also a heap of trevally about up to about 50cm, and on the genuine last cast I caught this Slatey.

Went back out to the same spot this morning, and got right into the Trevally again, and plenty of little squire and some pretty big bream amongst them.

Headed back to the mainland and stopped in at Bribie to get a feed, and ran into Lunatic who had spent the weekend braining crabs - great to meet you, Lunatic.

All that boating, and only 35L of fuel - got to love the ETEC.

All in all, an awesome weekend, and I'm sure we'd all like some more of this weather.

Good fishing,
