Hi all
Long time reader, first time reporter, so we'll see how it goes...

Spent Saturday night camping at Mission point with my missus, we didn't do too much fishing, mainly crabbing...

Overall the creeks are still crabbing ok, but not in the numbers of the past month, however the keepers were all a good size. (see attached pic of Mr Cranky pants)

A lot of big jennies around and little bucks, plus heaps of sandies. The sandies are everywhere - right up in the creeks as well.

Final tally bought home:
3 muddies
3 sandies
2 bream - 32cm & 27cm :D

let go a lot of bream in the 23 - 25 range, also caught a lot of small moses perch, but no keepers.

And the missus lost the catch of the day on the final cast - a nice flattly taught her a vaulable lesson about keeping your rod tip up high so they can be netted and not swin under the boat and bust your line!!

Also saw a couple land 2 nice snappers caught just off the ledge out the front of our camp site at mission point - ran into him back at the boat ramp and he said one was 53 and the other 47 (from memory)

Happy fishing
Harry
PS. the share farmers were around Saturday night >:(

you must have got them all. I only ended up getting one buck this morning and a bream.

No pots around this morning, other than 5 right in our spot. Thank your missus again for telling that bloke that's where you were catching them.

No mozzies or sandflies for me this morning. Though I had about 3 layers of clothes on.

Cheers all for the comments - no mossies or midges Sunday morning at all, think it was too cold for them - a few only right at sunset Saturday.

Larry - Molly didn't exactly reveal the spot, but it was hard to keep it under wraps when he cruised past me as i was pulling them up to go home! (at low tide) DOH!
