Mount Tamborine State Forest

since I have been travelling the Waterford-Tamborine Rd I have seen a few tracks just after the start of the mountain climb that enter the state forest, around the Thunderbird Park turnoff

anyone been in for a look?
can't take the work vehicle in there, even though it has 4WD and diff locks
Scania 8 wheelers aren't really suited to that sort of thing
