Hi everyone
Planning to spend a few days camping anf fishing up at Coochin Creek starting Tues 29/04.
Has anyone got any fishing reports on whats being caught.
Also does anyone know if there are any Yabby banks in Coochin Creek near the camping area

g'day used to fish coochin alot when i lived a beerwah but i only used plastics for flathead , used to caught a few around the camping area, casting next to the sand bars

Hi Martin

I'll answer your post, I've been waiting to see some replies myself, but I think its one of those places people don't want to make much noise about and that's a good thing.
There is a bank that dries, half way between the camping area and the boat ramp. I've never pumped Yabbies there but I think its your best bet. If your taking a boat from the ramp to the camping ground you'll find it, like it or not. Stay right over to the right hand bank to get around it, there's not much water in that section of the river.
I haven't been there for about 6 weeks so I don't know what's getting caught, but there should be a few whiting around, I'd reckon. There's always bream , flathead and mozzies, Good luck
