After weeks of tryin to get a decent fish from fresh and salt to christen my new baby (gear) i nearly almost gave up until today.. had a good session with 4 undersize flatties, 3 longtom/pikes hook ups - which gave me a good fight until they spat the hooks out ..anyways from nowhere goes zzzzzz ping! - bloody bust off from something big -- aRGH!! .. i had on 4lb leader so off that went and on the 10lb.. while i was tying on my 10lb, memories came swimming in from something big last year which took my whole finesse spool - i said to myself not again, this cant be happening again..after like half n hour casting i was about to give up until bang! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and minutes later managed to pull out a decent bream... 30cm to the fork ... the end ..happy ending ;D

Nice one haybii, sure is some mean looking gear your using there mate.
I'll be heading back out to my "spot " early Saturday morning if you want to give it a bit of a workout. That is of course if the fish want to play the game.
