Hi Guys
We 6 of us so far are heading up to Bowen on the 12th September Roughly to be up on the 13th
We are going to Montes Resort at Dingo beach for 1 week and then for 3 days in Bowen for the fishing classic..
Only 4 months now Giddy-up
After the fishing classic i will tow the 1ST prize new boat back home "(the old one i will leave there for next year)" and hopefully stop in 1770 for a breather for a few days, weather permitting !!! of course..
My question is this too all you AUS FISHO,S UP THERE can you give me a heads up as too whats happening that time of year....
Spring is Spanish i believe but i would like a few trout and some nice big GT,S or Golden Trevally too pull the arms off the other blokes.
1) Can you help out with a few GPS marks and spots please.
2) Where is a good place to stay in Bowen itself,
i have booked at the Whitsundays sands resort for a few days but boat parking concerns me..
