Advice on Maroochy River

I was just wondering if anyone new some good landbased spots within walking distance of the cotton tree caravan park? I use lures and mainly go for flathead and tailor.

Take a few steps down to the river mouth in the early to late evening timed with the tides. Might get a few bites. Better yet same rough location but over the other side of the river mouth.

Some further up-river. Maybe Nuggstar can help there? He's a local.

The mouth is ok and easy to access from the caravan park or even sneak into the plaza at night,some good Bream there.
