Which route for sounder cable

Evening Everyone,
I need some advice on the best way to go when routing the sounder cables in a boat I'am building. The main wiring harness from the console to the motor is going to be run through conduit , would running the sounder cable through the same conduit be succesfull or would the other electrical cables in the main harness cause interferance with the sounder.
One idea that has been put to me is to wrap the sounder cable in several layers of electrical tape then run it with the main harness in the conduit.

Or should I run the cable in a seperate conduit on it's own. The boat is going to have a totally sealed deck so getting this right is fairly important as to rip up the deck would be a major exercise that I really don't want to have to go through.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

My origional unit's wiring was run zip tied with all the other wires from battery/motor to behind the dash.. i installed my new unit just the same and have no problems what so ever..

the cables are preety well insulated as they are.

if you were to run 4" piping through your boat for your main wires you could always get the 3/4" split tubing to put your transducer wiring through... atleast this way you'll know there is some kind of barrier and distance between your power/engine wires and transducer wiring.. this will give u piece of mind atleast.

either way, i think you'll be fine.

Thank's for the help, the main wiring harness is going to be run through 90mm conduit, so running a smaller diameter split loom or even a smaller type of insulated hose is an option that i hadn't thought of thank's for the idea I'll look into it. Thank's again for the help I appreciate it
