lures for mangrove jack

can anyone give me a heads up on what lures to troll around structure and rock walls for mangrove jack.

Mate I hope your prepared to lose more lures than you can imagine. For me I like the lucky craft bevy shad and things like the killalure river and flatz rats. If the fish don't get em the snags generally do. Good luck.

We've been having some luck on the Bevy Shads (75F) as well, although we usually just cast at structure, not trolling.

Others that have been working well are the cultiva rippin minnows in the 9cm model, cultiva zippin ziggys (surface lure), shimano fat minnow, flatz ratz and some small poppers (4-5cm ones).

Also the ecogear sx40's and 48s seem to work suprisingly well for small lures at pulling in decent jacks, there's just a problem with the strength of the trebles though.
Other than that, the tilsan barra is an old favourite of mine, usually in the hot pink colour.

Once again, if casting, they love Squidgy fish in the 80mm models in the black and gold colour, usually using a 1/4 or 1/6ounce jig head.

The old favourite Mann's 10+, or if trolling deeper water the 20+ foot lures do well aswell. Changing your trebles to VMC 6x strong / size "2" will help too.

Unfortunately I lack the technology at my place to post a picture of the Mann's 10+ mate. BCF and most other tackle stores stock these lures, they've been around for a fair while now

its pretty easy to get your hands on these lures mentioned bcf will have most of them.

also some personal faves of mine would have to be FLATZ RATZ, LIVELY LURES, mans stretch 10+ in grey ghost also reidys litle lucifier.
