Hey all, creek a fish for the first time

Me and a mate decided to give brekky creek a go today to see if we could nail some bream. We had never fished the creek or that stretch of the river with plastics for bream but we got some alright fish. I started off using a jackall chubby in some shallower water and almost immediatley got a rat bream at 25cm fl. Things went quiet so we through on some gulps! and fished some nice structure. while my mate went to get some chips i was on as soon as he left i was on to a nice bream, a few close calls with the pylon and luckily landed he measured at 31 fork. Soon after i was on again to what felt like a rat and suprisingly he went 29fl and 33cm to the tip. A bit of fun on some knew ground and it's even better that it's closer to home. P.s. fished quite heavy on 1/12th heads to three
in plastics
Cheers

The fish look alright to me, good effort!

But... what about water quality in that creek mate, would they be OK to eat ?

Cheers, yeah the water clarity is far from good but a well presented plastic with scent did alright (i was even putting s factor on my hardbodies). Lgm i have also heard of there being a lot of cod and big flatties along with thredfin salmon. Dirty sanchez i assume the fish would be ok to eat but i release all my fish so couldnt give a definte answer.

Well done young fella,

I can't imagine catching bream on light gear like you do, but it looks like you use the same as me on snapper. Is that a Moldy cheese 3"?

That would be a hoot!
