Fished the brissie river saturday morn. Wind was blowing ,copped a few showers and found the bream and squire hard to find. Fished from boat passage back to Colmslie so we covered enough ground for 5 bream in 4 hours. South banks of the river found shelter from the wind but water visability was pretty crap. North banks were to exposed to that s/e and made it hard to fish especially on the run out . Overall I was going to pull the pin friday night but you never know if you never go so we persisted. Conditions may have been more suited to useing fresh bait than artificials:-/ . Anyway best two fish were on H/B and the rest plastics. Vibration and sound must have done the trick and pulled the quality in the murky water.Wasn't going to post but thought imfo may help someone else persisting in having a fish today Cheers;)

Bar up.... I might need a patch, didn't get that decent fix sat morn. so sat night flicked a few poppers off the Manly harbour walls at dusk and had a play with the local pike population. Firery little buggers hammer the little bubble pops and put on a ariel show. Had a few laughs so it was enough to put a smile on the dial,Cheers

Good effort in some average conditions there mate. Headed over to Kedron Brook yesterday afternooon to try and escape the wind, not a great deal happening over there apart from a few brembos.

I find the fish seem to shut down when rainy or going to storm.
I still have a go but no good. Cheers
