I will be taking the tinnie and would appreciate any members advice re species to target at this time of the year and any revelant information re fishing this area.as we are not familiar with the area being Brisbane based.

Hi
Good whiting at inskip point where the water rushes around the point, also the mouth of Searys creek there is a deep hole that holds cod and pelagics.
Cheers

G'day Crabbie
BIG MICK is the green direction marker west of the tip of Inskip Point. It's where the channel splits to go south to Tin Can Bay or up north to Fraser Island. Schools of bait fish and palegics can hang around this area.
Good luck

Mate there are many areas that produce fish
Suggest you try the jetty near Lees fishery has some nice size bream living there. You need bait as they do not respond to plastics or hardbodies. Lees is in Snapper Ck.
You also get a lot of whiting on the sand flats in Snapper Ck.
