With all the jibber about deep holes, shallow ones, no holes, holy grails and black holes, Ray and i headed South East of Mud.
Ray starts the day off tangling with a 2.5m Tiger, and after about 50 min of huffing and puffin its surfaces, and i sure werent coming on board.
next we had our play with snapper, and acquired a good feed, but nothing to brag about.
Then all hell breaks loose, four rods, four hook ups and only two hands each, lines in the way we lost 3.
After a long tussel mines on board, and my dream of as 12kg snapper is still to be dreamed about, as this one was brown and white and wouldnt fit in the esky.
great trip mate. shame about the lost fish.;D

Thats a nice Cobe Brian. On a livey?
I fished Manly to Curtin for a feed of Squire and some big Mac Tuna. Great day and didn't everyone know it. We almost needed traffic lights off Tangas with all the boats
Cheers

A good sized cobe webby. Good to see the bite sized squire still coming in but its that 12 kilo one you talk about i wouldnt mind fightin with as long as those sharks stay away. I have heard of many caught only to be taken by the big fellows of the deep.

Hey Webby would you mind giving us a few tips on your posts like rigs or baits used or tide and time? I'm not asking for locations or your personal secrets its just that i respect your skills and come to this site to learn a few new things and not just to see peoples pictures and exploits. I know a lot of people envy but it is a sin :)
thanks si
