wooops first one is a Silver Drummer that is, second one is also very common, we used to just call them "white eyes" don't know why, but they have very heavy scales and are in very dense schools at times, especially if you are Bream Fishing around the Rocks.

yeah First one is a silver drummer , used to catch a few of these on the south coast of NSW these things grow pretty big, it is belived that eating the silver drummer has some aphrodisiac qualities

I take it this is the same boardwalk at Caloundra where they catch luderick?It would make sense for drummer to be there they like the same habitat as blackfish.

I knew the first one as a blue puller... So either misidentified the first time or different name for the same fish.

The first one is definitely a Silver Drummer.

Damselfish sound right for the 2nd one, but the closest picture I can find is 2nd last fish down;

The second fish is a Spiney-Tail Puller, Acanthochromis Polycanthus, one of the damsel fish.
