moving to Bargara, looking for a fish

G'day everyone,

The missus and I are moving to Bargara near Bundaberg in a few weeks time and we would love to hear of some good landbased fishing spots around there and what fish are targeted.

Would also like to catch up with other fisho's ! Feel free to pm me. Very keen to meet new people! :D

We are traveling in our campervan and will be working in Bargara (in the hotel) for a few months until we move up the coast.

Great spot Bargara - hopefully doesn't get too popular by the time I move there (I have land there)....I haven't fished Bargara - but I do know there are always a couple boats straight out from Bargara: where the ramp is to the beach....they would only be a few hundred metres out....not sure if there is a reef there or not....if ever you go for a drive - head down to Woodgate (either ends) and Walkers Point : great spots for fishing as well.....
