I like the Passage?

[BAR UP]

Spent yesterday having a beaut day up the Pummicestone Passage. Left Donnybrook ramp at 530am (only 2 trailers parked up) & spent the next hour gathering livies, Herring Pike Gar & Mullet. We arrived at MY spot X. This spot always produces the goods. First cast with a live Herring & we get a 34cm Red Fish, this is gunna be a good morning. Got hammered 4 or 5 times with no hookups on Gar & Pike i reckon MR Jack. At the end we left with 8 nice Bream pretty happy with that, not a bad feed. The Bream were between 28cm to 35 cm.

Love fishing the passage mid week early in the mornings or the nights, no traffic an the whole place to yourself at times, didnt chase any prawns or crabs?

Yeh JayT, got 1 Prawn while chasing live bait. Dropped in 4 pots & got no keepers but lost 1 of my pots. Reckon someone knocked it, cant understand why it's only worth $12.00. Bit late up the passage for lots of Prawns usually get them late Jan till March!!
