Anything about 1770?

Heading to 1770 soon and would like to hear any experiences you have had there good or bad, things to see and do, best place to buy bait, are there any bait grounds for slimmies,etc

We are taking 2 offshore boats and two small tinnies so as to cover all bases weather wise. Hoping to get some reef fish and mud crab for a party feast one night.;D

Will be interested to hear how you go i am hoping to go there later in the year.Have been told by a friend that goes there once a year around late july early august is the best fishing time.Good luck and hope you catch heaps

Nice spaniard there Stubbie Holder, I was hoping to get down to Bustard Head earlier this morning, but had a change of plans & ended up out the front of Facing Island instead. It was a beautiful day out on the water, we caught a feed, but no spaniards.

Is that Pancake Creek in the background of those photos?
