Redcliffe Shallows Today

Took quick run out there this arvo for few hrs, mainly to test leak in boat.
No snapps, couple small bites, no runs.
Bit sad.
I did take couple pots.
Got 4 nice sand crabs.
I really think its no fish in northerleys.

A feed of crabs is good value even if the snapps didnt show.

It was very dead yesterday, fair bit of bait around but no snaps:'( you didn't' tell us how did the leak go Greg??

I was out there with the misses also. couldn't resist such a nice arvo especially with what seabreeze is showing for the next few days:-/ Were you on the southern or northern end? saw 2 other boats one wide of Odder rock and one in close to margate.

tally for us, 2 under sized snaps, 3 under sized Grassies and 5 sharks plus many bite offs. The misses really enjoyed playing two 4 foot lemon or blind sharks (not sure witch) on light gear.

I was just out from the bouys at margate ramp.
There was a boat in closer and 1 out wider.
