Try heading out past the school towards the salt flats. follow the dirt road round towards the jetty. I have fished the causeway before the jetty on the run out tide and caught some good barra in the wash of the storm water pipe. or else try the bridge out of town when you head past the servo.

:d Hi Major - Defect
We Were Up There In 95, Sought Local Knowledge At The Pub,it Ended Up 4 Car Loads Of Locals & Us, Traveled Out On The Salt Pans To A Bend In The River 10 Kl's Out Of Town, Done Well , Although Those Giant Catfish Gave Us Hell.
Must Have Local Knowledge ,dont Venture On The Salt Pans Without It.
