IT was such a nice day, tried few spots, dead, so decided to sound around.
Found a spot, bit of a drop off, holding few baitfish.
Berleyed up, then threw in.
Got few bites, then started landing at least 6 x 34cm snaps. 5x 30-32cm.
Then got 55cm, 45cm, 43cm. 1 wobby shark, 1 sandcrab, and couple screaming runs.
Think i found new spot.
got there at about 12 left at 5.pm.rs
Tides look good this week in arvo.

Cheers

I fished Redcliffe this morning and it wasn't firing well still caught a nice squire about 50 FL and a grassy about 40-45FL. By 7am I was struggling to entice anything so i did a pile of sounding around in the 500-1000m offshore area and found three decent reefs i did not know about. going back next weekend for a dawn assault on at least one of them as they all had good shows of bait on them.

Jack.

Redcliffe is a good cheap fishing option. Only $2.00 fuel in the Etec as opposed to $25.00 for a run out to Mud/Green.

I agree.
I have tried from woody to scarb, but nothing.
It was only because sunday was such a great day that i decided to sound arond a bit.
Yeah i could put in at the little ramp at margate and prob $ 2 would be tops or put in at woody and tops at $5.
Iam keen to give it a few goes especially when we got this freight train of a hit and couple other good runs, but just missing.
No sound better than that shim baitrunner screaming.
Wed arvo looks good for tides and weather.

Cheers
Greg
