i am attending my first fishing comp this year with a boat i was wondering if someone could let me know necessary sinker sizes as i have been told the current can raw up there

Depends on the size of your boat and whether your'e fishing inside or outside.
Up to the sandycape shoals and indian gravel patch and inside ...should not need much...Gardners..I'd make up some big torpedo sinkers, but it can be quite slow out there also,so a variety of torpedos wont go astray.
