Hi All
I have just been given some gps marks but they have come off a sounder that is running 66 can anyone tell me is there a way to work them out and change them to 84 so I can put them on my gps

Easiest way, depending on your brand, is to change your GPS datum to 66 and enter the original figures, then if your happy running on 84 just change datum back. Marks will automatically convert.

;D You had better post them up here so we can have a look and try and help out ;D ,but seriously some gps have 66 and 84 settings so like gone fishing said enter them in 66 and then change it over to 84,if that fails I believe there is a formula that can be used to do what your after just spend some time searching on the net.

1. Might I suggest those referring simply to "66" and "84" datums clarify 84 as being AGD84 or WGS84 etc to eliminate any confusion.

I shouldn't have made the assumption you were working with WGS84
