Sick of this flooding to be honest Shane
I just wanna go fishing .
Dont care if it's my boat or someone else's and couldn't give a shit what motor is on the back.
But it's not going to happen anytime soon by the look of the weather.http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/sad.gif
As for fuel economy I figure if you can afford 50 grand for a boat surely you can afford the fuel to run it.
Been through it all before a thousand times...2 stroke DI or 4 stroke ....this brand or that brand....I dont care...all mine seems to do is sit in the bloody driveway anyway.http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/sad.gif

Go the 4s eh Scott;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D
TCM, i would go on the E-Tec, fuel figures sound good on these, have not seen anything on the V max, but i would think there would be not much difference between the two, i mean for a days outing 10-20 $$$, nothing really to worry about, what size motors?

Mate do yourself a favour and go with the hi tech 2 strokes. Fuel savings are awsome and if you go with the e-tecs serviceing is bugger all compared to 4 strokes. You may pay a little more but you will save in the long run.!

Vmax HPDI could be a problem. FNQ Cains seems to know a lot about them..... See thread

I'm hearing ya. Had a campsite booked for Orpheus Island over easter that is going to go to waste. No end in sight to this bloody wind.

Hey Daz,
Look forward to many more posts from you to come......I am absolutely infatuated with that species in your avatar, you would go a long way to find a better example anywhere.
And as I am typing this another example of the same species from 'Peachy Passion' has just shown up, thank-you also Mr Ausfish for an excellent choice in advertisers.
This place is getting better by the day......
Regards Cameron.

That is by typing in HPDI. Type in Vmax and see what you come up with.

go with the brand that keeps the wind down the most,if your worried about the difference of 4 litres out of two hundred i would be more worried of the bank manger than the boat.
