Been getting a few jacks over the last month especially the last couple of weeks. The rivs and creeks are looking good round bris and in the passage with a heap of bait and prawns around. They've been taken trolling casting and deep jigging snags on the usual lures like prawnstars, flick baits, prongs and bombers. Sizes have varied between over 50's and under 30's so you never know what will turn up. Been a couple of good bust ups as well so there are some big fish amongst em. Cheers. Keith

Loopy-Not sure where you can get em mate. I know lureworld on the net sell other models of tropics, but don't know bout the rattlers. Only around 12 or 13 bucks. I'll see if I can find out for ya.

Dont really use em that much nug. Only use the tropic when the tides hammering too much or in the deep holes cause it's so heavy. Havent experimented too much with em but they definitely get the bites.

keith your a champ mate!

id rather be jucking a $13 lure at jacks then risk loosing a $25 jackall.

That'd be great cowboy. But I think we know what species he has his little eye on. Keep gatherin those live baits for the houseboat mate.
