Received a reply to a letter I sent to my local member.

Take note of the middle paragraph on the second page.
Its not me catching ALL those fish. So who is.

Include with this letter was a 24 page pamphlet titled
The science of marine reserves.
It was produced by PISCO and COMPASS and funded by
the David and Lucille Parkard foundation.

Those names sound familiar.


A second 4 page job titled
Moreton bay marine park zoning plan review,why marine reserves are important: was also include.
Of the 7 scientific references quoted, 4 of them were for

Just makes my blood boil to read such a politically aligned wordsmithing document, to justify such non scientific data based on a survey most of us completed 2 years ago (as stated in their own documentation), thinking that the state government was trying to promote the business of recreational fishermen with the pretense that they were going to improve ramp, toilet and BBQ facilities for the REC fisherman, we were all conned and I believe they had no budget for their scientific research.
