Finally the water ways around yeppoon are starting to fire up again. went out on a low tide trip... something i don't usually do.

Last 3 trips to corio bay saw me with a fish every time. one being a nice golden travelly tipping the scales at around 1.5kg's.
next day action was hotter, but only managed to land 1 35cm queenfish.

today i bought a new outfit... berkley Enforcer loaded with 6lb braid.. my first ever light rod/reel combination.

Managed to score and christen the new gear with a solid 45cm queenfish and boy are they fun to catch on light gear.

On the way home (out of the way actually) i thought i'd drop into the causeway and have a bit of a flick around the front.

Managed 1 GT with a length of 15cm which absolutely enhaled a 2" shrimp in penny colour GULP. after that lots of hits which would have been the same type of fish.

went for a walk up ontop of the bridge and i tell ya, some people must be catching some decent fish up there on the runthrough.... blood staines everywhere...

anyway. thats my rant for now...
